Points to consider while using the Management Calendar

While using the management calendar, we should populate time-consuming tasks on days on which routine laboratory workload is relatively low because testing service is the very purpose of the existence of the laboratory, and patient care should not be compromised. It is also important to post it so he can make a frequent visual scan of the calendar to rehearse what comes next. It is a good practice if he puts a reminder or key that tells interpretations of abbreviations he used in the calendar as he might forget what they really refer to. Putting some marks on selected dates to indicate pre-requisite preparations for a forthcoming task is also important. A lab manager needs to update his calendar at times of need ( e.g. if he undertakes an urgent event that he didn't plan already instead of completing a scheduled task).
